Our Vaccine Policy
We will never use or approve a vaccine for cattle that is new to the Market. We will never use mRNA or gene-altering vaccines. We will never use vaccines that have been on the market for less than a decade. Animal Growing Environment
All products sold under the Grassfed Cooperative 100% Grassfed Program must come from farms that have been inspected by a member of the Grassfed Cooperative or calf producers must produce and affidavit that describes their protocols.
Cattle must be on pasture for 90% of the growing season and 90% of their diet coming from the pasture.
Cattle on pasture must gain 1.25lb. per day.
Feeding Stored Forages in the form of hay and haylage is acceptable when pastures are dormant or as supplementation.
Producers will graze cattle in a manner that builds soil health.
Dry Lots are acceptable in the case of inclement weather or overnight prior to major cattle handling events.
Winter housing is acceptable if airflow is unimpeded.
